Following the death of my father, Graham Beeson, and after much deliberation the decision has been made to close the firm of Beesons Chartered Surveyors.We ceased taking new instructions as from 30th September 2009. However, we shall continue here at Railway Street until the end of October when I hope to have the business wound up and accordingly David Franklin and I can be contacted on the above number until then. If you have any outstanding business or queries please do not hesitate to contact us to resolve any issues and either I or David will be pleased to answer your questions and assist with any matters arising.As there will not be facilities for storage of our files in the long term these will be disposed of in due course. If we are holding any files or documents that you wish to have returned please do not hesitate to contact us to make arrangements for collection. We would appreciate if you can quote the file number or give detailed information regarding documents, as this will assist in locating them swiftly.I have spoken to David with regard to his future and can inform you that his intention is to continue with the same type of work that he has been doing for Graham over the past 38 years, providing he can retain sufficient clients to make this viable. Unfortunately, due to the fairly sudden occurrence of the situation, complicated by its coincidence with David·s annual leave, he has not as yet been able to finalise his new business arrangments.As stated, we shall be continuing here at Railway Street until the end of October and we can both be contacted on the above number until then. Hopefully by that time David will have been able to sort out his new arrangements and as soon as the situation is in order he will write to all of Graham·s clients with whom he has been involved to pass on his new business address and contact details.
